These are photos of a model schooner built by my father, Allan Albert Moulton Sr. and my grandfather, Albert Gordon Moulton Jr. - who was only 8 years old when his father was lost on the Mina Swim.
It was built years before we had access to a photograph of the Mina Swim, yet it is eerily similar. This is either coincidence, or my grandfather had a great eye for detail and a vivid memory, since this was built over 7 decades later.
